ABSTRACT
Rifampicin and isoniazid play a crucial role in treating tuberculosis (TB), a significant threat to global health. To ensure the effectiveness of therapy regimens, monitor patient compliance, and evaluate pharmacokinetics, it is essential to accurately measure the levels of these medications in different matrices. In this study, we thoroughly examine the analytical and bioanalytical techniques used to quantify rifampicin and isoniazid. We critically assess sample preparation methods, chromatographic procedures, and bioanalytical processes to determine their specificity, accuracy, precision, and linearity. Furthermore, we compare these techniques to existing methodologies, identifying any challenges and limitations associated with them. Finally, we evaluate the adherence of these methods to global regulatory standards The examination's understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of current methods unlocks opportunities for more efficient means of analysing rifampicin and isoniazid. These advancements could potentially impact the treatment and research of tuberculosis. Prospects for the future highlight Keywords: innovative technologies and approaches for the progression of this critical field. [Download Article] [Download Certifiate] |
