ABSTRACT
The hand wash is an effective way to kill the micro-organisms and various bacteria. In the present study herbal hand wash was prepared by using lemon juice and eucalyptus oil and was further incorporated into paper soap. Herbal paper soap was prepared by using prepared handwash. Prepared handwash & paper soap were evaluated for various parameters such as colour, odour, pH, foaming index, stability etc. The Agar diffusion method was used to determine anti-microbial activity of prepared handwash and paper soap. Three bacterial cultures namely E-coli (gram negative bacteria) and staphylococcus aurous (gram positive bacteria) & Bacillus subtiles were used for determination of antimicrobial property. Prepared hand wash and papersoap were compared with marketed paper soap for antimicrobial activity.
