Sreya T. C., Reshmi K. S. and P. Sudharsan*

ABSTRACT

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in skin care products derived from natural sources, particularly herbal ingredients. Herbal anti-aging face serum is a non- greasy liquid that is commonly used to avoid signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity of skin. Face serum can penetrate the skin layers rapidly. Herbal face serum emerged as a popular choice among consumers seeking effective and sustainable skincare solutions. This abstract explores the formulation, benefits, and efficacy of herbal face serum in enhancing skin health. The herbal anti-aging face serum combines potent botanical extracts, essential oils, and herbal ingredients for their nourishing and rejuvenating properties. These serums are formulated to target various skin conditions such as hydration, anti-aging, acne control, dullness, andbrightening. It typically contains botanical extracts like green tea, ginseng, and aloe vera, which contain antioxidants and vitamins that protect the skin from environmental stresses and promote overall skin health. Furthermore, their lightweight texture allows for easy absorption into the skin, delivering nutrients deeply for enhanced efficacy. Essential oils such as rosehip and jojoba oil provide hydration and nourishment, while plant-based peptides may help firm and tone the skin. With the increasing awareness of the potential harm caused by synthetic chemicals in skin care products, consumers are turning to herbal face serums as a safer and more sustainable alternative skincare solution. Additionally, the trend towards clean beauty and eco- consciousness has fueled the demand for natural skincare products, and driving the market growth of herbal face serums. In conclusion, herbal anti-aging face serums offer a promising approach to skincare harnessing the power of nature to promote healthy and radiant skin. As consumers continue to prioritize natural ingredients and sustainable practices the popularity of herbal face serums is expected to rise, making them part of modern skincare routines. Some individuals may be allergic to certain herbal ingredients, leading to skin irritation or other mild side effects or adverse reactions like itching, and redness.
