ABSTRACT

Xanthium Strumarium L. is a medicinal plant that comes under the family Compositae. According to research, skin aging results in cellular DNA damage. Xanthium Strumarium is a natural ingredient found in North America, Brazil, Malaysia, and China. The primary goal is to review Cockle Bur used in the preparation of anti-aging cream. We can use the fruit of the Xanthium Strumarium which has various traditional uses. Xanthium Strumarium has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-tussive, anti-oxidant, activities. It can also used in the treatment of various cancer treatments. It is also used in the treatment of rhinitis, arthritis, nasal sinusitis, headache, gastric ulcer, fungal infection etc. Natural ingredients like Cockle Bur, Almond oil, and Tea tree oil are used in the preparation of water in oil emulsion-based cream. Extracts of
Xanthium Strumarium fruit have a variety of herbal preparations as well as homeopathic remedies. It has also been used as a medicine for hundreds of years in China and North America. Xanthium Strumarium is used as an herbal medicinal plant in China where it is used for various diseases, this plant has many biological activities against various diseases.
