THE PRESCRIBING PATTERN OF DAPT IN POST PCI PATIENTS

ABSTRACT

Dual Antiplatelet Therapy (DAPT) plays a crucial role in the management of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) by reducing the risk of stent thrombosis and major adverse cardiovascular events. The prescribing pattern of DAPT post-PCI encompasses various factors, including guidelines, patient characteristics, and evolving evidence on antiplatelet agents and stent technologies. This overview discusses the prescribing patterns and considerations in managing DAPT for patients after PCI.
