ABSTRACT

The clinical SAS programming sector in India has experienced significant growth in the past decade due to cost advantages and the presence of a skilled workforce, with indications suggesting this trend will persist in the years ahead. While industrial demands emphasize shorter project timelines, increased profitability, delegated responsibilities, and the delivery of high-quality work with minimal oversight, there's also a rising need for qualified professionals. Consequently, programmers' preferences have evolved, shifting towards seeking diverse opportunities and career advancement, albeit alongside challenges such as wage inflation driven by ample job options. The potential for discord arises when industry demands
diverge from programmer aspirations or vice versa.
