*Kaiser Jamil, Shyam Gade and Salma Sultana
ABSTRACT
In India, some regions may pose challenges for individuals with allergies due to factors such as air pollution, pollen levels, humidity, and other environmental factors. However, specific data on the worst places for allergies in India might not be as extensively documented or studied as in the USA. However, certain cities in India are known for their high levels of air pollution, which can exacerbate respiratory allergies and conditions such as asthma. Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai often face significant air quality issues, especially during certain times of the year. Aerobiological studies regarding local pollen and fungal spores are needed to better characterize allergic sensitization profiles of various communities across India.[1,2,3] The objective of this article was to abridge the available information for the diagnosis of allergies in various locations with respect to its prevalence in the Indian subcontinent.[4]
