ABSTRACT
Neovascularization, or the natural process of angiogenesis, is the confirmation of new blood vessels from pre-existing vasculature. It is thought to be crucial for normal physiological growth, wound healing, tissue regeneration, and other processes. Numerous diseases are caused by the process of angiogenesis; when it is excessive, it causes cancer, obesity, allergic reactions, liver cirrhosis, and many other diseases. When it is insufficient, it causes Alzheimer's, diabetes, hypertension, ulcers, and many other diseases. As vascular supply is a necessary condition for the tumor's growth, antiangiogenic therapy is a form of treatment rather than a cure for cancer. It is a very successful method of eliminating tumors. So, here we discuss the recent advancements in Antiangiogenic therapy of cancer.
