MANAGEMENT OF KAKSHA (KSHUDRA ROGA) W.S.R HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA -A CASE STUDY

ABSTRACT
Ayurveda is the great medical science of India which is practiced since ancient time. each country has its own traditional system which they practiced. Depending on Bruhatrayee and Laghutrayee, Ayurveda is still practicing in India with great success. Hidradenitis suppurativa is a one chronic scarring inflammatory acne like disease of skin which is not having confirmative solution with modern medicine. In Ayurveda, skin disorders are explained with their treatment under Kushtha vyadhi and Kshudra roga in a very scientific manner. The aim of this study to evaluate the effect of management of Hidradenitis suppurativa according to Ayurveda. In this case study patient was suffering from Hidradenitis suppurativa (Kaksha) was treated effectively with leech therapy once in week for 3 consecutive weeks. Patient got significant relief from pain, tenderness, discharging sinus and swelling of left axilla.
