ABSTRACT
Anemia is a major blood disease that affects people of all ages globally and is defined by a low red blood cell count or inadequate hemoglobin levels. Several factors, especially genetic predispositions, chronic illnesses, and dietary deficiencies might contribute to the disorder. Fatigue, weakness, and dyspnea are common signs of anemia, which adversely impacts general health. Consequences emphasize how important it is to detect anemia early and treat it properly so as to reduce its negative effects. A variety of blood tests are used to assess hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cell count in order to diagnose anemia. Treatment plans include nutritional modifications, iron supplements, and, in more serious circumstances, medicine or blood transfusions.
