FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF HERBAL LOLLIPOP OF CAESALPINIA BONDUCELLA FOR ANTHELMINTIC ACTIVITY

ABSTRACT

The Plant caesalpinia bonducella had been use for medicinal purposes long before recorded history. Anthelmintics (Also called parasiticides, endectocides, and nematocides) are drugs used to treat parasitic warm infections, including flatworms (Tapeworms and flukes) and roundworms (Nematodes), which usually infect human, livestock, and crops, affecting food production. Therefore management of pediatric patients who is suffering from heliminthisis so its very difficult to administrion of solid, liquid dosage forms. That time can be prepared Herbal lollipop of caesalpinia bonducella for anthelmintic activity containing Caesalpinia bonducella (Aqueous extract), Dextrose, sucrose, citric acid, methyl cellulose etc. In this reaserch we confirmed the anthalmentic activity of caesalpinia bonducella (L) by performing various parameters Thickness and diameter, Hardness, thickness,
friability, moisture content, drugs content and dissolution test.
