OVERCOMING PALATABILITY CHALLENGES IN PHARMACEUTICALS: A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF TASTE MASKING TECHNIQUES

ABSTRACT

A critical component of pharmaceutical formulation, taste masking, is explored in this paper along with the different approaches and technologies used in this process. It is stressed that taste masking is essential for improving patient compliance, particularly in the case of older and paediatric patients. In addition to providing insights into potential future paths in this discipline, this article provides a thorough analysis of taste masking's methodologies, materials, evaluation approaches, obstacles, and recent achievements.
