ABSTRACT

Acharya charaka explain Karna is important gnyanendria. Karna is adhistana of Shrotrendriya and Akasha mahabhoota is predominant. Shabda is vishaya of karna. Acharya sushruta said karna is included in Bahirmukha srotas. Karna is made of 2 sandhi, 1 asthi, 2 mamsa peshi. Karna is supplied by 2 dhamanis and 10 siras.Acharya vagbhata describes 3 marma related to karna.
