DESIGN, SYNTHESIS, SPECTRAL CHARACTERIZATION AND ANTI-BACTERIAL SCREENING OF SOME NOVEL 2, 4-DITHIOBIURET BASED PYRIMIDINES

ABSTRACT
The interactions of 2-(3-thiocarbamido) pyrimidines (I-a) and various alkyl/ arylisothiocyanate such as phenylisothiocyanate, ethylisothiocyanate, tertiarybutylisothiocyanate, p tolylisothiocyanate, 4-chlorophenylisothiocyanate (IIa-e) in acetone and ethanol medium have been investigated. The synthesized compounds from these reaction conditions were characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, chemical characteristic and IR, H1-NMR, MASS, spectral data.
