Vegetables, rich in phytonutrients and nutraceuticles, offer advantages in maintaining health and preventing nutritional imbalances. These bioactive compounds within vegetables are believed to have preventive medicinal roles, protecting against various health issues. Their therapeutic properties contribute to immunity enhancement, overall health improvement, and disease prevention and treatment. Ongoing research focuses on developing vegetables that cater specifically to our health needs, meeting WHO's nutritional requirements through minerals, vitamins, phytoconstituents, and dietary fiber.
