ABSTRACT
The chronic pathogenic condition known as diabetes mellitus is predominantly caused by insufficient insulin secretion. This article discusses the safety of withheld insulin as well as its effectiveness when compared to subcutaneous insulin in different diabetes populations. Optimal diabetes control affects both macrovascular and microvascular diseases, which are among the consequences of diabetes. Insulin release is influenced by several hormones, including growth hormone, corticosteroids, and thyroxine, in response to glucose. The most pertinent non-invasive insulin administration methods currently being developed, together with the corresponding technology and clinical data, are all included in this review article, categorized by stage of development.
Keywords: Glycemic control, Mellitus drug, Administration route, Inhalation insulin. Type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes.
