ABSTRACT
Chalcone are 1, 3- diphenyl-2-propene-1-one, in which sweet rings are linked by a Three carbon α, β- unsaturated carbonyl system. These are abundant in comestible shops and are considered to be the precursors of flavonoids and isoflavonoids. Chalcone belong to an important class of flavonoids, which may be prepared by Claisen – Schmidt condensation. They retain a wide range of natural conditioning and artificial operations. Green chemistry is essential to contribute to sustainability; this work has collected all the information relating to green chemistry criteria, so that stakeholders can elect an applicable Model, under the green chemistry protocol, to estimate how important herbage is a process. Chalcone are synthesized by conventional and microwave oven supported conflation styles. By microwave oven supported conflation, a considerable increase in the response rate hasbeen observed and that too, with better yields. The composites have been screened for antimicrobial exertion.
