ABSTRACT
Nebivolol, a widely prescribed cardiovascular drug, it is a beta-blocker with vasodilatory properties, is widely used for the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. This abstract provides a concise overview of the analytical methods employed for the quantitative determination and characterization of nebivolol in pharmaceuticals, biological samples, and environmental matrices. The review covers various analytical techniques such as chromatography (HPLC, LC-MS, HPTLC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis), methods. Furthermore, it discusses sample preparation, validation parameters, and recent advancements in nebivolol analysis. The objective is to aid researchers, pharmacists, and regulatory authorities in selecting appropriate analytical methodologies for quality control, pharmacokinetic studies, and environmental monitoring of nebivolol-containing products. This review underscores the need for robust and sensitive analytical methods to ensure thesafety and efficacy of nebivolol-based therapeutics.
Keywords: Nebivolol, Beta-blocker, Hypertension, UV-visible, Hplc.
