REVIEW ON PHARMACOLOGICAL ROLL OF PROSOPIS CINERARIA

ABSTRACT
Prosopis cineraria is also known as khejri. This plant is basically found in dry and arid regions of Arabia and also found in some areas of Indian states like Gujarat, Western Uttar Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana. Hydrocarbons and phenolic acid derivatives were discovered in the plant's leaves and flower after phytochemical analyses. The bark, gum, leves, flowers, root have found use for various disorder like dysentery, diabetes, wound healing, astringent, diarrhea and tooth brushes. The on-going in test A.nilotica as an oral antibacterial agent has grown since it appears that the resistance of bacteria is much less conventional antibiotics. It has also been found that A.nilotica has antifungal and antiviral properties. A.nilotica could conceivable become a treatment option for patient suffering from a variety of oral diseases.
