ABSTRACT
Meconium Aspiration Syndrome is the term used to describe the various degrees of respiratory distress in the newborn babies or It is also defined as a respiratory distress in a newborn caused by the presence of meconium in the tracheobronchial airway. The main factor that promotes the passage of meconium in utero includes fetal distress and meconium stained amniotic fluid, Management of Meconium Aspiration Syndrome depends upon the condition and severity of newborn babies. It is generally managed by observation, nursing care, circulatory support, and oxygen Therapy.
