ABSTRACT
Pharmacological appraisal for different extracts of various parts of Ficus benghlenesis L. already investigated but so far as our literature review, the ethnomedicinal combined use of leaves and stem Ficus benghlenesis L. as the hepatoprotective agent has not been investigated scientifically by experimental model. Therefore, the aim of present work is To investigate the liver shielding activity of leaves and stem extract of Ficus benghlenesis L. contrary to carbon tetrachloride prompted hepatotoxicity in Wistar rats.
