ABSTRACT

The present study is to evaluate the anti-obesity activity of alcoholic extract of roots of Carica Papaya. Phytochemical screening of crude extract reveals the presence of carbohydrates, proteins, flavonoids, saponins, fixed oils, glycosides and steroids.
