ABSTRACT
This study delves into the multifaceted attributes of synthesized AgNPs derived from the fruit rind of Garcinia mangostana, specifically focusing on their antioxidant, antiurolithiatic, and antibacterial activities against struvite crystals. Garcinia mangostana, commonly known as the mangosteen, It has many presence of Phyto compounds in the fruit. Silver nanoparticles, on the other hand, have been extensively studied for their potential to combat various medical challenges, including antimicrobial resistance and urolithiasis. Garcinia mangostana with the unique properties of AgNPs presents an intriguing avenue for exploring their therapeutic potential. Struvite crystals, composed of magnesium ammonium phosphate, are notorious for their association with urinary tract infections and kidney stone formation. This research investigates the synthesized AgNPs for their ability to inhibit struvite crystal growth and explores their potential as antioxidants to counteract oxidative stress associated with crystal formation.
