ABSTRACT
Yonikanda (Yoni = Vagina, Kanda = Protuberant Structure). It is a disease of vulva or lower vagina. In which protuberant round or irregular structure found on lower vaginal wall in females. Clinically we can correlate yonikanda to Bartholin’s abscess or Bartholin’s cyst in modern. In Ayurveda yonikanda is explained in madhav nidan, bhava Prakash, yog Ratnakar. In that samhitas Hetu, samprapti, chikitsa of yonikanda explained very briefly.
