ABSTRACT
The incidence of diabetes mellitus has grown substantially during recent decades, mostly due to changes in the way of life, an increase in obesity and lifespan (Heydari et al., 2010). Current estimates indicate that around 366 million individuals’ worldwide diabetes and by 2030, this figure is anticipated to reach 552 million cases (IDF, 2011). In highly fatty diet-induced" Obesity in Wistar rats, to explore the antiobesity efficacy of ethanolic Embelia rib extract (100 mg/kg bw) ".The anti-obesity potentials of "Embelia Ribes in" high fat diet-induced obesity in Wistar Rats (50 mg/kg bw) are investigated"To study antidiabetes "potential in high fat" diet and low-dose streptozotocin (35 mg/kg bw, i.p) caused type 2 diabetes in rats from Wistar for ethanolic extracts of Embelia ribes (100, 200 mg/kg bw).
