ABSTRACT
The concept of Mucoadhesive Buccal Tablet a has emerged with an objective to improve patient’s compliance. Methods to improve patient’s compliance have always attracted scientists towards the development of fancy oral drug delivery systems. Among them, Buccal Drug Delivery Systems have obtained an important position in the market by overcoming previously encountered administration problems and contributing to extension of patent life. All parameters and experimental design evaluation, it was concluded that the drug release rate decreased with an increase the concentration of PVP K-30,
HPC and Magnesium Stearate mucoadhesion property increased with increase the concentration of PVP K-30.
Keywords: Buccal, adhesive, carvedilol, bioavailability, macromolecular.
