REVIEW- WATER FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE

ABSTRACT
Water is a crucial component in the creation of pharmaceuticals.‖ Non compendial ―water, purified water, or water for injection that has undergone purification must be stored and supplied in systems that have been properly designed, constructed, commissioned, and validated. Types of water and its specifications are defined in monographs of United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur.) and Japan Pharmacopoeia (JP). This journal discussed about different types of Water especially Water for Pharmaceutical use by referring the latest WHO specification of Water for Pharmaceutical Use- 2020 and Guideline on the Quality of Water for Pharmaceutical Use-2021 by European Medical Agency. Studies on Specification of Different types of Water for Pharmaceutical use on the basis of different monograph issued by USP, Ph. Eur, and JP.
