ABSTRACT
This article puts light on the effective techniques involved in environmental biotechnology. In today’s era, water pollution is one of the major problems Due to hazardous waste which comes out from industries degrades, the ecosystem, and the environment. There are biological agents such as Anthrax [Bacillus anthracis], Botulism [clostridium botulinum toxin], and plague [yersinia pests] involved in Environmental Biotechnology [EB]. The role of biotechnology for the environment is well developed, the use of genetic modification makes this technology successful, and various organic-rich effluents are used in the treatment of pollution by utilising the anaerobic environment & which requires a large population of metabolising microorganisms
such as pseudomonas, and alkalis. There is Bioattenuation which means depletion/debilitation of the environment and a decrease in the concentration of contaminants in soil and groundwater. Bioremediation and Bioattenuation are both areas that have research fields, there is vast scope for research and modifications have various applications for the treatment of hazardous wastes generated from industries and considered effluent wastes. It can be modified through genetic engineering to become efficient and more suitable for bioremediation. The sustainable use of natural resources by which environmental biotechnology gives an idea of the exploitation of marine resources. Sources of chemicals which are provided by marine such as Eribulin Mesylate [Macrolide chemical], Omega 3 fatty acids, ethyl ester, Baretuxima b Vedotin. There are at least 20,000 new substances extracted from a marine creature
Keywords: Hazardous waste, Biological agents, Debilitation, Bioattenuation and Bioremediation, Genetic Engineering, Marine Resources.
