ABSTRACT
Diabetes is becoming a major worldwide health issue as its prevalence rises in developing and developed nations alike. The most common reason for hospitalisation is diabetic foot. Non traumatic lower limb illness is common, and in the majority of instances, it necessitates amputating the necrotic portion in order to preserve the healthy limb. The difficult element is to use different surgical and parasurgical clinical techniques to save the patient's limb and to minimise or reduce the rate of amputation. In order to advance the healing process and lower the mortality rate, acharya Sushrut, the father of Ayurveda, classified this illness as being under the general category of dushtavran and mentioned several different methodologies known as shashti vranaupakram. Therefore, the focus of the current case study is on the therapy of a diabetic foot ulcer using non-surgical techniques such as vranshodhan, ropan, vrandhavan, vrandhupan, laser ablation etc. in combination with oral medications to achieve miraculous recovery.
