Abstract

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF DIETHYLCARBAMAZINE CITRATE IN TABLET DOSAGE FORM

ABSTRACT

The Aim of the present study is formulation and evaluation of Diethylcarbamazine Citrate tablets. In-vitro dissolution studies and stability test for the formulated tablets were evaluated. Research is focused to match the in-vitro drug release of the formulated tablet with marketed sample for the treatment of filarial diseases. Attempt was made to develop a Diethylcarbamazine Citrate (100mg) Tablets with the following objectives. ▪ To Study the In-vitro dissolution. ▪ To conduct stability studies in accordance with ICH criteria. ▪ To carry out bioequivalent study. ▪ To improve the patient compliance. entrapment efficiency, particle size analysis, morphology, in vitro drug release of dissolution.
