ABSTRACT
Itraconazole was dissolved with surfactant, cosurfactant, and oil until saturated in a clear solution extracted with methanol. The absorbance was then measured at 243 nm with a UV spectrophotometer. There are several ways to contrast oils, cosurfactants, and surfactants. The formulation procedure used the spontaneous Nanosuspension technique. Tween 80, ethanol, and isopropyl myristate (IPM) are used as surfactants, cosurfactants, and oils in the Nanosuspension recipe. It was found that the formulas F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, and F7 are unstable whereas the formulas F8, F9, F10, F11, and F12 are stable throughout
the production process for an itraconazole nano solution. Out of F8, F9, F10, F11, and F12, the F10 test results for physical stability are the highest. Itraconazole Nanosuspension formula optimization was accomplished using Tween 80, 36% concentration, 9% ethanol, and 5% IPM.
