CURCUMIN LOTION FORMULATION AND EVALUATION FOR POSSIBLE ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITY
Abhay Sagar*, Prabhudutta Panda and Shashank Ranjan Pandey
ABSTRACT
Candidal infections have considerably increased in denture users, particularly in patients with impaired immune systems. This issue is brought on by the rise in antifungal drug resistance and the number of patients who are at risk, as well as the limited supply of antifungal medications that are commercially accessible but still have a lot of negative effects. These restrictions highlight the need for the creation of novel antifungal drugs that are less harmful and more effective. The goal of the current investigation was to establish the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the lotion formulation and evaluate
any potential antifungal effects.
