ABSTRACT
Pediatric dentistry presents specific challenges when treating uncooperative children, as traditional techniques often cause anxiety, fear, and discomfort for both the child and the dental practitioner. However, the increasing demand for pain-free dentistry has led to significant advancements in dental lasers, exceptionally soft tissue lasers offer numerous advantages in managing soft tissue conditions in children. Moreover, recent developments have made these lasers more affordable and user-friendly, making it an opportune time to harness their benefits. Whether a sophisticated and powerful system or a lightweight, cost-effective option, virtually any dental practice can incorporate a laser to enhance efficiency and alleviate patient concerns. This review article explores different types of soft tissue laser treatments in Pediatric dentistry, highlighting their advantages, disadvantages, and contraindications.
