A REVIEW OF LITERATURE ON HEALTH POLICY IN INDIA
Dr. Karan Baburao Nagpurkar*
ABSTRACT
Health policies address health concerns and determine what, when, where, and how an individual obtains health care services. They are designed to safeguard and improve community health, and this frequently entails advocating for and bringing about policy measures (De Leeuw et al., 2014). To enhance community health, practitioners, innovators, and public health thinkers must commit to policy reforms that create and promote a health-enhancing environment (Johnson SA, 2009). Health policy is the starting point to bring about a change in the situation (Srinivasan, 1995).
