ABSTRACT
One innovative drug distribution method that offers a therapeutic improvement over traditional or immediate-release single-unit dosage forms is the use of microspheres. The term "microsphere" refers to solid, approximately spherical particles with a size between 1 and 1000 micrometers. In order to deliver a therapeutic substance to the target site with a sustained controlled release, there are several different methods. Among them, the microspheric drug delivery system has drawn a lot of interest because of the variety of applications it can be used for, from imaging to delivering drugs to specific sites. Compared to conventional dosage forms, microspheres made using various techniques have different efficacy and administration methods.
Different techniques to rate the microsphere's quality will be used.
