HAIR CARE PRODUCTS OF HERBAL ORIGIN: PRESENT SCENARIO

ABSTRACT

Hair is a filamentous protein emerging from hair follicles in the epidermal layer of skin. Due to various factors such as environmental, dietary, age, etc. people face various hair related problems like hair fall, dandruff, grey hair, split ends, to name a few. Although various hair care products are available in the market but we can’t neglect the side effects they are having. So, a need of herbal based products emerges from here. Herbal products being totally of natural origin have negligible side effects with wide range of therapeutic effect. Nowadays, various pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical industries are working on the principle of using herbal based products as a solution for all hair related problems.
