DETECTION OF PSEUDOMONAS BACTERIA IN RAW COW'S MILK

ABSTRACT
In samples of raw cow's milk, we focused on detecting the presence of Pseudomonas bacteria, which are an indicator of the hygienic quality of milk and, with their presence, contribute to the development of inflammation of the mammary gland. The experimental part of the work was carried out in practical conditions on four production farms (PH1, PH2, PH3 and PH4) located in the Slovak Republic in the Abov, Spiš and Zemplín regions. The collection of milk samples was in the period of autumn 2020/ winter 2020/ spring 2021/ summer 2021. A total of 320 individual samples of raw cow's milk were subjected to detailed analysis of quality parameters and microbiological analysis of milk. A total of 73 isolates of Pseudomonas spp. were confirmed by species identification using the PCR method. Identified as follows: P. putida (34.25%); P. fragi (13.70%); P. lundenses (9.59%) and Pseudomonas spp. (42.47%).
