FISH DIVERSITY OF GODAVARI RIVER, RAHATI DIST- PARBHANI MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

ABSTRACT
Rahati is a Village in Parbhani Taluka in Parbhani District of Maharashtra State, India. It belongs to Marathwada region. It is located 6 KM towards South from District head quarters Parbhani. Godavari River is the very important river in near to Rahati village in Parbhani, Maharashtra and the source of capture fishery in this region. Godavari River is originated from Trimbakeshwar, Dist. Nasik. It flows 7 District in Mahrashtra. Fishes are good source of Protein and vitamin D. Fishes were collected from Godavar (Rahati) river during 2022-2033 by different types of fishing nets. 17 species belonging to 5 order
Cypriniformes, Osteoglossiformes, Siluriformes, Perciformes and 4 family were recorded from this region.
