ABSTRACT
The present work described the development of stabilized parenteral
formulation of an anthracycline antineoplastic agent which is used in
treatment of bladder cancer. A different type of treatment is available
for bladder cancer. One of them is intravesical therapy which is most
safe and effective therapy. The parenteral formulation containing 40
mg/ml drug was prepared by using 50% dehydrated alcohol and 50%
Polyoxyl castor oil as excipients. The formulation was evaluated for
chemical analysis and result was found to be very good and it matches
with innovator profile as well. Characterisation of formulation was done
by HPLC method.
