ABSTRACT
Ganthaga nei which herbo mineral preparation is one of the medicine mentioned in Siddha classical Athma Rakshamirtham to treat the 80 types vatha rhohams. this medicine was selected to evaluate the efficacy of such medicine for the Sirasthampavatham (Cerebral palsy). Research is needed to ascertain the quality, safety, and efficacy of herbo mineral preparation on scientific lines. To prepare Ganthaga nei, as per standard operating procedure (SOP) mentioned in classical text and to analyze biochemical using modern analytical techniques. Biochemical analysis was carried out in biochemistry lab in Govt. Siddha Medical College and Hospital, Palayamkottai. The analysis was shown the presence of organic and inorganic constituents from plant material. Standards laid down in this study certainly utilized as an important tool for standardization and quality assurance of this herbo-mineral formula.
