USAGE PATTERNS OF COSMETIC PRODUCTS AMONG ADULT POPULATION: AN OBSERVATIONAL STUDY

ABSTRACT
Study “Usage patterns of cosmetic products among adult population: A observational study” completed the basic purpose of the use of these products over various organs is for coloring, cleaning, protecting, varying, and beautifying which is to trade the look and style of individuals regularly, Our objective is to estimate different age-based usage patterns, analyze which brand is commonly used by consumers, analyze how frequently they use their cosmetic products and how much they believe in their promised effects. observational questions compiled from various research articles and composed using Google Forms and posted to participants online via WhatsApp resulting in a
total of 260 responses. All responses calculated and compared by discussion using percentage calculation methods to estimate differences in usage of cosmetic products based on various factors like age, gender, skin type, and the ability to read directions with MS Excel 2019, The highest ratio is 57.8 percent female and is from the 19 to 28 age group (207), and the form filled mostly by students (200) belongs to graduation (192) with no income as students (43.4%) have oily skin (29.5%). Generally, mostly people use cosmetics for skin care purposes (179), and they are motivated by skin wellness for the use of cosmetics (144). Conclusion shows that there is positive appropriate behavior of population towards buying and using of cosmetic products.
