ABSTRACT
The goal of this review is to get an information about carbon dots as an bioimaging application. CDs are newly devloped type of carbon nanomaterials and composed of discrete quasi sperical nanomaterial. Google scholar is used as an source of this information. They are small size, low toxic, excellent water soluble, tunable light emitting properties and good biocompatible. They are produce via their pyrolysis during hydrothermal and microwave heating process.
Keywords: Carbon dots, bioimaging, optical Imaging, targeted cell imaging, Ex-vivo, In-Vivo Imaging.
