PILOCARPIANE DRUG USED IN GLUCOMA TREATMENT

ABSTRACT
The pilocarpine is obtain from leaves of pilocarpus microphyllus, was evaluated for the open angle glucoma treatment. The open angle glucoma is a medical term that refer to the chronic type of glucoma, it occur when the liquid or aqueous can access the drainage angle. Redness of eyes, patch blind spots, difficulty seeing things in your central vision. In a early stage is does not show any symptoms. It show the mechanism of action like involve in both full and partial agonism of muscarinic receptor m3. The adverse effects like sweating, bronchial mucus secretion, bradycardia.
