HPLC: HIGHLY CONVENIENT INSTRUMENT IN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY

ABSTRACT

High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has been extensively used as an analytical method for many years and is an important instrument for pharmaceutical drug separation, analysis, quality assurance and life science research. It is often used for non-volatile chemical separation and analysis. Because of the versatility of this technology, it has found widespread use in the pharmaceutical industry, research laboratories, clinical laboratories, and academics. This article was written with the intention of reviewing several aspects of HPLC, such as the principle, types, history, instrumentation, application, and chromatographic parameters that were analyzed to optimize the process, such as sample pretreatment, mobile phase selection, detector selection, column selection.
