ABSTRACT
This article explores the concept of ecopharmacovigilance and the effects on marine. The use of pharmaceuticals has increased over the years, leading to a rise in their occurrence in natural bodies. The effects of these drugs on aquatic life are not well understood, but it is becoming increasingly clear that they can have serious consequences. This article discusses the need for ecopharmacovigilance to monitor the effects of pharmaceuticals on the environment and aquatic life. It also highlights the importance of developing more environmentally friendly drugs and improving waste management practices to reduce the impact of pharmaceuticals on water bodies. The article provides an overview of the current position of research on the topic and offers recommendations for future research and policy. Overall, this article aims to raise awareness about the issue and stimulate discussion and action toward a more sustainable and responsible use of pharmaceuticals.
