A REVIEW ON PARKINSON’S DISEASE

ABSTRACT
Parkinson‟s is one of the major neurological disorders which is very fast developing in western and Asian countries. In this review we focus on basic of Parkinson‟s like symptoms, pathophysiology, therapies and treatment of it. Parkinson‟s disease (PD) is a heterogeneous neurodegenerative disorder that affects an estimated 10 million sufferers worldwide. Etiology of Parkinson‟s is still unknown but we can say that it is highly affected by genetically and environmentally. Diagnosis is based on basic symptoms like rigidity, resting tremor, slowness of muscle movement. Unfortunately no proper therapy is
occur for treatment of Parkinson‟s. Pharmacological therapy contains too many drugs use for the treatment but still now no drug became perfect for Parkinson‟s. Almost all drugs show side effects and not completely cure Parkinson‟s.
