REVIEW ON "ANTIULCER ACTIVITY OF PUNICA GRANATUM"

ABSTRACT

This review article is about Punica granatum means Pomegranate. Chemical constitute of Punica granatum, their activity, effect in terms of benefits, uses and it effects or action against Ulcer. As all know its ingredients already been proven antioxidant, anti-inflammatory actions and several other disorders. This article is also about the myths and facts about the fruit. The facts coming out of scientific studies carried out before are also discussed in the article. However along with the ulcer its symptoms, its causes and its treatment the article is focused on phytoconstituents of Punica granatum and the activity. Mainly the active ingredients present in Punica granatum such as flavonoids, vitamins, punicalagins and minerals are discussed.
