Rutuja K. Jangle*, Manisha B. Parhad, Dr. Gajanan S. Sanap and Pooja Adhav

ABSTRACT

Early opinion of contagious conditions is critical because it can greatly increase recovery rates and help the spread of conditions similar as COVID- 19; the still, in numerous areas with inadequate medical installations, the timely discovery of conditions is gruelling. Conventional medical testing styles bear technical laboratory outfit and well- trained drivers, limiting the connection of these tests. Microfluidic point- of- care (POC) outfit can fleetly descry conditions at low cost. This technology could be used to descry conditions in underdeveloped areas to reduce the goods of complaint and ameliorate quality of life in these areas. This review details microfluidic POC outfit and its operations. First, the conception of microfluidic POC bias is bandied. We also describe operations of microfluidic POC bias for contagious conditions, cardiovascular conditions, tumours (cancer), and habitual conditions, and bandy the unborn objectification of microfluidic POC bias into operations similar as wearable bias and telemedicine. The ultimate thing of this review is to give new perceptivity and directions for the unborn development of POC diagnostics for the operation of contagious conditions and contribute to the forestalment and control of contagious afflictions like COVID- 19.

Keywords: Microfluidic, POC (point-of-care), Medical testing, COVID-19, Wearable devices, Telemedicine, Rapid diagnosis, Biosensor.
