MONKEYPOX AN INFECTIOUS DISEASE

ABSTRACT
Monkey pox is the relative disease of small pox causing a rash that often begins on the face according to the UK’S NHS website. It was first discovered in 1958 in monkey’s in CENTRAL ASIA, hence, know as monkey pox. It can be catch from a bite by an infected animal or by touching it’s blood, body fluids or fur, by rodents such as mice, rats and squirrel, by eating meat from am infected animals that has not been cooked properly. It’s possible to spread through touching clothing or towels used by someone with rash. Although it doesn’t spread easily among people. Symptoms include fever, headache, backache, shivering and swollen glands. There is no specific treatment.
