GREEN DENTISTRY FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE OF DENTISTRY

ABSTRACT
In the present world, it is crucial to comprehend the value of being environmentally friendly in all facets of life, including dentistry. This is because the vast amount of waste generated by various dental procedures has a significant negative influence on the environment and ecosystem along with use of excessive water and electricity, and other factors that emphasise the necessity to transition to "Green dentistry”. This review article outlines some typical wastes generated by dentists and offers recommendations for minimising the environmental impact. These measures can assist maintain patient and worker safety, reduce the risk of future liability, and save our air, water, and land by going green.
